會呼吸的「台北雙峰」

Breath of the Taipei Twin Peaks

兩座高樓其實是兩座巨型風力發電機，藉由高層空氣流動產生的風壓驅動渦輪，產生的電力足以提供整個園區95%以上的乾淨的能源，往後透過機組效率增益工程甚至可以把電力提供擴散到周邊商圈與住宅。兩座高樓還有另一個作用就是收集雨水，連通到蓄洪池以及整個園區的水循環再生系統，堪稱綠建築的先驅典範。

The two skyscrapers are actually two giant wind turbines. Through the wind pressure generated by the high-level airflow drives the turbines, it can generate sufficient renewable electricity to provide for more than 95% of the entire park. In the future through the currently planned efficiency improvement project, it could even provide energy to the surrounding commercial and residential districts.Another function of the two skyscrapers is to collect rainwater, which is connected to the flood detention pond and the water recycling system of the entire park, a pioneer model of sustainable architecture.

雙峰塔的11樓至16樓分別是「當代藝術中心」以及「科技藝術中心」，由一座漂浮的空橋連結，以後將串聯台北幾個美術館、藝術空間成為驅動台灣前衛藝術發生的場所。

The 11th to 16th floors of the Twin Peaks are the "Contemporary Art Center" and the "Digital Art Center", which are connected by a floating skywalk. In the future, this will connect with museums and art spaces in Taipei to become a leading site for Taiwan's contemporary art scene.

Art in the Historical Monuments

原空軍總部舊辦公大樓「前台灣總督府工業研究所」將被活化，轉變成為「藝術聚落」的基地，將有藝術家駐村、藝術實驗場與社會實踐研究室等機構設置在這裡，這裡發生的實驗、生產將與兩個藝術中心的展覽活動相互結合。

The original Air Force Command Headquarters administration building – “Former Taiwan Provincial Government Industrial Research Institute” will be refurbished and converted into a base for "artist residences", where there will be artist residencies, artistic experimental sites, and social research laboratories. The experiments and productions that take place here will be combined with the exhibition activities of the two art centers.

Office Spaces That Create a Prosperous City

「日照活動場」是雙峰塔17層至49層的統稱，這部分提供企業、公司等商誒辦公場所承租使用，由於建築慘用雙層帷幕設計與智能換氣系統，能夠保持透光與溫度調節，同時減少能耗。

Daylight Activity Area is the collective name for the 17th to 49th floor of the Twin Peaks. These floors are leased out as offices to enterprises and companies. Due to the double-layered barrier design and intelligent ventilation system of the building, it can maintain light transmission and regulate temperature, while reducing energy consumption.

Dance with the Giant Windmill

雙峰塔的50層至64層是高級住宅所在，旁邊就是整串的平軸風力發電機，為整棟大樓提供額外的能源需求。享受日出、日落、大台北風景與風車交織的天上生活。

The 50th to 64th floors of the Twin Peaks are where the luxury apartments are located. Next to them are a series of horizontal-axis wind turbines, which provide for the additional energy requirements for the entire building. Enjoy the high life intertwined with sunrise, sunset, the scenery of Taipei, and windmills.

大台北的蓄洪生態樂園

Ecological Detention Basin of Greater Taipei

「生態蓄洪池」是這座池塘正式名稱，面對台灣氣候上颱風、暴季的侵襲，這座人造湖泊可以有效達到蓄水、排洪的調節功能。從生態循環的角度，湖泊生態可以提供110種以上的動植物棲地，也提供台北市中心一個觀察自然兼具戶外休憩的場所。

“Ecological flood detention basin” is the official title of the pond. Faced with Taiwan’s typhoons and storms, this artificial pond can effectively regulate water storage and flood discharge. From the perspective of the ecological cycle, a lake can provide habitats for more than 110 kinds of animals and plants, and also provide a place for observing nature and outdoor recreation in downtown Taipei.

照顧弱勢族群的共生聚落

Caring for the Underprivileged in the Symbiotic Housing Complex

在雙峰的周圍是容納不同族群居民的「地下居」，分別承載著原「正義國宅」的異地安置戶，另外還有750戶的社會住宅提供弱勢與青年族群，落實居主正義，讓家的夢想在這裡蔓延擴散。

Surrounding Twin Peaks are the “Underground Residence” housing for residents of different backgrounds. They provide for the resettlement of the original “Zhengyi Public Housing Complex”. In addition, there are 750 social houses for the underprivileged and younger generations. Implement housing justice and realizing the dream of having a place to call home.

都市傳說中的地下生態

Underground Ecology from Urban Legends

每座「地下居」的世界中央都隱藏著一個秘境，供養著每個聚落的呼吸、吐納，讓地下居的不同族群的生活彼此交融。頂著太陽，聚落周圍有著像山谷的綠意植栽環繞著我們，棲居在城市裡的森林是這個共生聚落的最佳寫照。

In the center of each “Underground Residence”, there is a secret realm hidden within that supports the breathing air for each residence complex, allowing people with different backgrounds to live underground together with each other. We are surrounded by a valley of green plants that lies under the sun. The forest within the city provides the best portrayal of this symbiotic housing complex.
